E2BN Workshop

Wow! What an excellent conference! So much inspiration from our main speakers, so much good practice shared at the workshops, the exhibitors, the Indian dinner last night, the mind-reader (very spooky!), the very good company, the networking - such a brilliant combination. And then, to close, Sir Bob! OK, he didn't speak to the title we were given, but what a speaker, what a thinker, and what passion about things that matter! I could seriously listen to all of that again.  I haven't looked at the Conference website recently, but I wonder if there are any podcasts there this year.  I have been asking for the keynotes at least to be broadcast this way for some years, but it has not happened yet.

To those of you who attended my workshops, thanks for being such brilliant audiences. It's always a delight when I walk away from such an occasion have learned from those who came to learn from me. Thank you for that, and for the really useful backchannelling.  Issues were raised which I will write about here on this blog over the next few weeks, I think.

As promised, the presentation and a list of hyperlinked resources are included in the drop box linked here.  Please help yourselves, and leave comments if there are things you didn't say in the backchannel, but would like to say now.

See you all next year?

  1. Hi, Thanks for a useful workshop. We have already used some of the applications with netbooks in our primary school. I have placed a'flyer' we made about our use of netbooks in the dropbox. The 'flyer' is a bit out of date now - as we offer home access to children with the netbooks and now we have netbooks from year 3 to year 6.
    Cheers

  2. Sorry, I thought I'd replied earlier! Thanks for that, Simon - your comments on the workshop, and for dropping your flyer in the box. Much appreciated!
